it seems that the hansell yoghurt maker is still on special at coles for $10 - complete with 3 sachets. coles have the sachets on special for about $2.50. from memory, woolies also had yoghurt sachets on special.

watso is making a tub a day - and trying different things- yesterdays tub was using a small spoonful from a sachet - and a teaspoonful of culture saved from a previous batch - and mixed with $1 uht milk.... the yoghurt was perfect

sometime ago, watso bought several packs of concentrated orange cordial for 10c a packet - and just a very little mixed in with the yoghurt got rid of the tart taste of the natural yoghurt - because some people might not like the tart taste.

watso often buys rtc milk - and watso might give that a go sometime - but it seems that the milk should be boiled first, to kill any bacteria which might be in the milk.... watso thought that is what the pasteurizing did.

for $10, the hansell yoghurt maker is a good buy
