Blooreeler,all without question.I have a particular
interest in Maori tattoo art.
I grew up with Goldie the artist in the Auckland museum.
I digress,as is my wont, the fine art also became the
black art,as enterprising Maori realised that the
art form was in demand. And so a good trade in human
tattooed heads was born.
In order to get more into the FEDEX so to speak, they
predated Japanese miniaturisation, the heads were hollowed
out, filled with sand and cool smoked to the size of a softball.
