The mining company Greenland Minerals and Energy will meet with Naalakkersuisut on Kuannersuit project

Greenland Minerals and Energy will spend the first six months of 2014 to develop a future strategy for the construction of a mine in Kuannersuit. There are now meeting between Naalakkersuisut, BMP and Greenland Minerals and Energy. There are no set date for when Greenland Minerals and Energy submits its application for the extraction of rare earths, uranium and zinc in Kuannersuit.

The meeting between The Government and Greenland Minerals and Energy will be the first of a series of meetings to be held during the spring, communicate Greenland Minerals and Energy.

Do partners, the Australian mining company interested in opening a mine in Kuannersuit where there are large deposits of rare earths, uranium and zinc. Work to start mine got extra tailwind, as the majority of Inatsisartut repealed zero tolerance towards uranium 24 October 2013.

The meetings with Naalakkersuisut and BMP are beginning to make a schedule for the application for the extraction of raw materials in Kuannersuit.

The company will include participating in the so-called PDAC meeting in Canada. There will Greenland Minerals and Energy and Mining Directorate to present opportunities for mining in Greenland, when representatives from the mining industry from different countries meet.

Greenland Minerals and Energy intends to hold a series of meetings and workshops in Greenland in March and April, when future plans are put forward.
