Thanks for the reply, not sure you really answered the 'why would POC1 invest all the time and energy into a very sensitive POC Troponin test' question.

I know you may not inclined to do so but it'd be interesting to get your opinion on the past year or two' ado announcements.

Re a use for a Troponin test like the one they are trying to create, a couple of months back I was at work and had a lot of what I thought were heart attack like symptoms eg tight chest, pain on deep breath and pain moving around Lhs of my chest. Over the course of the day I got more worried/paranoid/concerned and eventually headed off to hospital in an ambulance 4-6 hours after these symptoms appeared. They were concerning enough to worry me but not to have me freaking out and dialing 000 ASAP. If the ambo's could have given me a poc test for Troponin it could have saved everyone time and $ as I came up completely clear of everything and the dr put it down to a virus.

From what the ambo's said this happens quite a bit.
