Abbott refused to vote for the one off flood levy in 2011.
The ALP secured cross-bench support to pass the levy to assist flood victims in Queensland at the time.
There was a recent story that highlighted unfortunates who never saw a red cent of the levy. Did it ever get to Queensland, or disappear in to consolidated revenue? Unions?
It would be interesting to hear from somebody who benefitted.
