I think some of you are getting way off the reservation.
My take is SC55 simply didn't fit BHP's risk/reward anymore.
Their departure downgrades the perceived prospectivity of the permit.
The market realises that if OEL ever do drill it, it wont be until 2015 given the time it takes for a farmin deal and lead time for offshore rigs.
Sp has reacted accordingly.
