    Ive been tipping a property downturn for over 6 years.

    I've given up.

    Anyone who thinks they have the answer to where property prices are headed is fiddling with themselves . There are too many disparate and conflicting issues that impact to have any real insight as to what the direction will be.

    My personal opinion is that everyone should aspire to own some property ,because it's a simple method of enforced saving and at least if the world caves in ,if you've been sensible about the procurement of it ,there will always be a roof over your head.

    But right now a property crash is a remote possibility ,I think the time for that has passsed . For the Latte set who are spewing about affordability ,suck it up and save ,you'll get there eventually . If you want to live the life you have to pay the price
