Looking forward to the outcome of the application to the American Medical Association for a Common Procedural Terminology (CPT) reimbursement code.
Day one of the AMA's 3-day Panel Meeting has been completed. Two days to go. With the relevant application (MRI Post-Processing) being item 42 on the 109 item agenda, it could already have been determined. If not, likely late this evening, our time.
I also note the following on the AMA's web site:
"After each CPT Editorial Panel meeting, a document is prepared showing a summary of the actions that were taken by the Panel on each of the code applications"
So we should know the outcome by early next week.
