"Structural things like easier access to money and dual incomes are a big change."
spot on ----------- and who is to say that dual incomes will not change back to a single income.
There is no reason not to -- it seems by gut feel that that could not happen ------- but dual income was as unbelievable as that 60 years ago as well.
Maybe it won't happen - maybe the pill made the big difference to dual incomes - I believe it did.
I can imagine a time in future where men and women for whatever reason need to produce more children - possibly a return to poverty -------- if that has a catalyst - then it might turn into a self fulfilling mechanism.
Social and structural change drives everything - and it is dynamic, never fixed.
have a great day all
