Will be interesting to hear if TRF also received a letter and if it is true, will they be entitled to compo from Southern (if they are still alive???)....Googled the Australian story and pasted below.

"THE South Australian government has moved swiftly to assure Sydney-based Kingsgate Consolidated that a disputed tenement surrounding the goldminer's Challenger mine is safe.

Kingsgate yesterday received a letter from the SA Department of Mines informing the company that a caveat lodged over a key tenement by Perth-based junior Trafford Resources would be removed.

The Australian yesterday revealed that Trafford had lodged a caveat over exploration licence EL 4468, which surrounds Challenger and is likely to host gold resources that could extend the life of the mine. Trafford believes it is entitled to a 51 per cent interest in the permit as part of a broader joint venture in the region while Kingsgate believes it holds the permit outright.

Kingsgate managing director Gavin Thomas told The Australian that the letter from the department said the caveat had been lodged incorrectly and would be removed from the mining register in two weeks.

Southern Gold formed an exploration joint venture with Challenger's then-owner, Dominion Mining, covering Dominion's extensive exploration holdings in the region. Trafford in turn struck a deal in August 2012 to purchase Southern Gold's interests for $500,000 and three million Trafford shares."
