As to the by-election, the fact that you take such comfort from the ALP candidate's win gives me comfort. The wagons are slowly closing in on the ALP in the seat of Griffith.
As you know history was against the Coalition candidate Bill Glasson, however he has further dented the ALP hold. You can interpret the vote how you like, the fact is the seat is less safe for the ALP today than yesterday. That is a positive for the Coalition, what positives can the ALP take out of the by-election by doing the expected yet losing votes? The fact they didn't lose more votes???
