BUT supposedly the TO is now set in concrete to use the pun! Well perhaps not but say that they get 25%-40% of JKA, what then - they have control of JKA but do they need to TAKEOVER! Now that is control and POWER, BUT - BUT this would allow JKA to stay independent and save JKA as a company. HAY now does that make sense, maybe then invest only small millions into JKA for future options? Hmmm..... AND AJE stays in the company. LOGICAL Yes!
Anyway for those still swooning as to thinking about the marriage... Some thoughts.....
Indeed, in Tarfaya offshore area, the MO-2 well tested 2,377 BOPD of 12° API from the Upper Jurassic(1969-70)by Esco - Esco eventually were taken over by EXXON - (Yes that mob that had a leaky boat in Alaska). So any results of note in Morocco in the MO-2 and perhaps MO-8 wells have permanently been lost? ( I Have not been able to find much from EXXON site of older history except nonsense as to many takeovers and name changes with EXXON.)
Anyways..."IN MO-2 (Cap Juby now outside of TPT tenaments) which is upper Jurassic, the oil was biodegraded due to erosion caused by the Oligocene unconformity and sub-aerial exposure of the reservoir to weathering. (In all probability it could be a localised location only maybe 20 sqkm? more or less, BUT in the same salt cored structure, the MO-8 well discovered 38° API light oil accumulation in MIDDLE JURASSIC carbonates. (WOW - did that say CARBONATES - now that rings a bell! Where have we heard carbonates before??? Are you getting some feelings as to perhaps there is more to these CARBONATES and some other place with these carbonates.)
I REALLY HOPE SO! Anyways some thought provoking images as to the Tarfaya blocks blocks. MO-8 appears in Tarfaya tenements - FORM your own conclusions.... the NEW 3D should make a world of difference as to really hitting a nice sweet spot we wish.
Hay maybe I will give my shares to TPT afterall. Even a small find in Cap Juby of OIL at Middle Jurassic will be REALLY great news for TPT. Perhap we know more why the BIG SH are trying to have second thoughts as to TO?
