Hello booz,

Not too sure you can write off the USA any time soon.

China has a well documented ageing of population problem, i.e. the one child per family policy - something that has never been tried before by any nation.

China has the worlds largest reserves of shale gas, but they have a lack of water (for fracking) problem. Some pundits say they also have a banking problem, and I might add, many other problems.

Meanwhile, the USA still seems to suck in brains. Several years ago, The Economist ran an article "500 million Americans" Incidentally, when it comes to sucking in brains, Oz. could/should be in the same race.

When it comes to sheer military might, well just Google "worlds aircraft carriers" The Chinese have one, bought second hand from Russia and it has taken them ten years to get it shipshape.

Chances are, the world will never see another super power the likes of the USA.

Disclosure: But I don't like the place (USA) lived there for two years, not my cup of tea.
