As I posted before but you didn't seem to understand it: the role that Stroud played as a merchant banker was to have those companies listed and raise capital.
As far as I can tell, he was successful in that capacity. He is NOT CEO of those companies and not responsible for their success or otherwise after listing.
Surely the point is, he understands the sector and would have learned a lot by those listings, including the most serious impediment to commercial success: the problem of land.
Why is this so difficult to grasp?
