John Howard's Govt's were only too quick to commit Australia to involvement in illegal wars that have seriously destabilised the Middle East and Indian sub-continent.
There is a real stench oozing from the politics of accepting massive numbers of people from war-torn Europe while turning our backs on those from the war-torn Middle East.
