The nice close on the HUI index yesterday carried through overnight. While it did not exceed the intra-day high of last week, it is a new closing high for this bull market. At the same time, the HUI Relative Strength has broken topside against the cash price of gold - or in other words - at long last the gold shares are outperforming the metal, something that has been a bit frustrating for gold share holders over recent times. This is all good stuff.
