If you read the funding announcement, it was the pricing of the 'attaching options' that the directors weren't happy with and NOT the placement price.
But who knows whether the placement price was higher or lower than the current SP. All I know is that the current SP is lower than when the shares were in a trading halt pending the funding announcement. The lower the SP goes, the more egg on the face of the directors if they need to raise capital at lower prices.
