I can't believe everyone is writing FGE off. One announcement has been put out stating that ANZ has pulled the finance, one announcement. I bet there are multiple parties eyeing this off as a perfect time to get in and takeover. Macquarie has already been pinpointed by a previous poster due to their substantial holding and not wanting that to wither away. I think FGE has too much going for it in the years ahead to simply die in 2014. Yes current holders might experience some medium term pain but I think longer term it'll come good.
