pintohoo …. yep … you are correct more so in the closing years of the war, but still not on a mass scale, really just local rivals and not wanting that rival to live to see the Nazi State fall and then take revenge … so many local killings, some numbering in thousands … insignificant numbers compared to the other criminals mentioned … people minds were more on the red army advancing from the east … Germany was basically a totally militarized state by 1945 …..
