Yeh it does make you wonder about who the fund manager was? But they can plead the privacy spin as deals are in talks, what's to say like you mention the price is been manipulated lower to an agreed value with the same fund. These matters should be released to the market as the deal has been rejected the details should be disclosed to the share holders who should be aware whether they have been dudded on future deals or previous ones. Where's the transparency to the market? Gone. The deal was and remains clear as mud.... Only mention was it was rejected due to the 'options attached being not in best interest of holders" well the holders should have the right to know what that was....
