Small note to any interested, Scripture does not really say the world is six thousand years old, or that the Earth was created in seven of our days(These are often stumbling blocks for the uninitiated regarding the Scriptures.) Note, I said our days. We now are informed quite accurately by the scientists that the galaxy we are in contains 200 billion plus stars and that there are billions of galaxies. Wow. All that from a piece of energy compressed to the size of a pinhead. Both the scripture and the scientific community say this approximately. Why then would the author of all this relate time to the time it takes our planet to revolver around its little Sun, the equivalent of one piece of dust on the surface of a of a grain of sand on a huge beach the size of a galaxy as the measure? We are informed the creators time is not our time. Illustrated in a way we can understand that a thousand years is but a day. It really means an AEON. There were six such stages as outlined in the Scripture. Scientist have shown it all belatedly also. But thats not a concept you could describe to someone in the first century. The analogy they used is fine. The scientists, in this case Quantum Physicists have also aided understanding by confirming the knowledge that there is no time outside the physical or material universe. It does not exist. That is what the Scripture says. Also that the spirit we all have is outside of time also. There is no time in that dimension as we understand it. Far from disproving what we are told in the Scripture(I am talking the Christian specifically the King James translation) the marvellous advances made in science have made it easier than it has ever been to verify the scriptural account. The Creator makes His own time as He sees fit He tells us.
I make no statements concering the Koran or Bhuddist texts etc. Have read many of them in my teens along with most of the major western philosophers and Marx, Lenin, Confucius, Mencius et al and they are gathering dust on my shelves or in the attic as unable to provide proof that I can require. Replying to one knee jerk comment, to suggest that someone is self delusional without knowing what they know, or have seen, is a bit silly, irrational and arrogant. Take it easy. There are amazing things to learn you can not even imagine, but they are the most beneficial things we can ever find out. You can take it with you, unlike material wealth.
We live in a very dark age, regarding things of the spirit. There has never been more ignorance. But a little light will continue shing in the vast dark, but soon..it will grow much brighter. . To titillate with avery simple example- five is typically associated with the Temple. It takes light exactly 500 seconds to reach the earth from the sun. The rotating axis of the earth is 500 million inches. The imperial or British navigation system of ensures is based on this axis' length. But the British system existed long before we re learnt(?) in modern times what that axis is. The Great Pyramid uses it. Plus some other related ones. (Royal cubit 5 times 5 inches)Has five faces five points, five sided concavities in the faces, etc. We have five fingers. Five toes, Five protrusions ie head two arms plus two legs. Five senses. Five orifices in our body. Why five fives? Thats just a little it gets much better. Design here perhaps? The whole shebang is one huge design. The author of it all is a mathematician and a poet. The Masons know something of it. Some others know more.
