jongo, you have only started trading cfd's a couple of months ago - you sound like an old hand to me. I am in the same boat too, a relative new chum also.
I followed up the same enquiries too with "live question and answer" on my cmc markets platform and got the same answers also (could not find anything in my PDS). franking credits an obvious personal matter between each person and the taxation department.
I in fact had a lower bid right in the line of fire of the likely opening price so I got rid of it last night. I don't know whether my cfd provider automatically clears all bids when a stock goes ex dvd as with the ASX, but I did not wait to find out.
THE DIVIDEND WAS IN MY ACCOUNT FIRST THING THIS MORNING
I am a little bit disappointed with the stocks performance over the last 4 days compared with the movement of the all ordinaries and the US markets. .. perhaps the excellent results had been already priced in prior the results announcement. I thought the stock would be flying.
