    If and when they remove the carbon tax and electricity prices just keep rising afterwards anyway they will be truly exposed and the populace will be very angry.

    I think you are right. I think its too late now, the tax has infiltrated every aspect of our lives and the egg cannot be unscrambled. This is what I wrote yesterday;

    "Most of the exponential and extended damage done by the carbon tax will be pretty much irreversible.
    Businesses that have closed or put off workers are not going to rehire the day the tax is gone. Its been around too long now and is part of Australia's business fabric. No business is going to reduce its prices because a whole economic system has adjusted everything upwards to try to compensate.

    If it had been removed straight after the election, the effects might have been mitigated somewhat, but its too late now."

    Why it was not removed on day one post-election is a bit of a mystery. The people voted in the well-telegraphed knowledge that it would be gone.

    WHAT THE PEOPLE WON'T FORGET IS WHY ITS EFFECTS ARE NOW WITH US FOREVER.
