I'm neither a bull nor a bear . I'm simply an investor that has both property and shares .
I think your above statement is pretty ordinary given that there have been plenty of posts answering that question .
Anyway , here's my version .
Quite simply , it's population growth and continued employment . The population is increasing so those people need housing . The costs to produce those houses continues to increase . Employment remains stable . So while that situation continues , so will house prices . I don't believe we'll see the type of growth that we saw in the late 90's in Melbourne for example , but I do believe we'll see some steady growth over time .
