    MMMoney I agree with your points in regard to the reality of whats people are having to do. I just think that a downturn would be related to the prime movers unemployment and interest rates. There has been a cool off on wage growth it hasn't affected the property market but others here are claiming it has?? that's just scare mongering.

    As long as unemployment doesn't get too high everything is fine people will buy for the long hold feel satisfied with a bigger tax return and the years will tick by. Eventually they will be sitting on a capital gain.

    about Masseyfergusons house if those figures are true 2k per week that would be a tragedy.
