So, Transocean/ SEDCO earn around $9b a year and in Feb 2013 had a backlog of drilling contracts around $27b, yes $27b! Ask yourself, why are they going after a company that has $5m in the bank...the MD has more than that in the ashtray of his car.
What if? SEDCO took a chunk of Nexus as a mediated settlement? A slice of Crux perhaps? Would they want it? Heck they're a drilling company, why not. Drill it, prove it up and then flog it off for a tidy profit. Good for NXS, Good for SEDCO win win.
