Hmmm ... have DOW closing 31/12/04 at 10783 and with last close at 10785 and only one day to go 2004 would have been a disappointment compared to our Oz market.
Read recently that DOW yields are around 1.3% so not surprised ... our Ozzie majors are outperforming albeit on the back of US consumer debt.
Chart shows DOW stalled at 10900 after rallying thru several key points and now appears ranging narrowly ahead of next move ... a positive move if consolidation as support at 10700 holds.
Cheers ... tight stops.
