Once the power plays are unsustainable, like conning people to tow the line accepting pensions after 95 or whatever , the power bubble will burst because the real world is not prepared to follow the argument.
Charlotte to a large extent was mislead into a world that is not real and not sustainable. Unfortunately those around her could not help her with this reality and she had better options but no-one could guide her appropriately
