We had adequate rainfall everywhere - even Perth - if normal prudent engineering of water supply upgrades had been allowed to happen. Can I say that again - there never was a need for seawater desalination in Australian capital cities. Green anti-dam dogmas - Green do-not-touch-bush dogmas - Green climate change dogmas - and a weak media that normally refused to question Green positions - all fed into the amazing extravagant multi- $Billion decisions to install seawater desal. That we and our children and their children will be paying off for decades.
