Interesting thread but I think you're all missing the point. It's not about oil or the petrodollar/petroeuro or the possibility that Iran will develop nuclear weapons because that is many years away if at all.
It's about political crisis and indictment of senior members of the Bush administration. If they attack Iran it will be to distract attention from the calls for impeachment of Bush for wilfully breaking laws and ignoring the Constitution.
