I think your post summarizes the situation perfectly. The many years that we have been watching this stock now comes down to exactly what you define. i.e. All hurdles now safely negotiated.
All we await now is the flow of sales that will follow on from the extraordinarily positive CDC guidelines. Our first target major market in the US is the HCWs (Health Care Workers). That is a minimum of 4m tests p.a. and probably a lot more consequent upon the the new CDC guidelines for diagnosing and treating TB in HCWs that have now also been released. (also very positive for QuantiFERON).
And don't forget that Japan will be incorporating QuantiFERON into their TB control program as from April '06. The structure of the Japan TB control system means that the actual takeup in Japan will be very rapid.
And, meantime, Europe have already embraced QuantiFERON with open arms with the penetration there is increasing every day.
