Great timing though.
BHP most likely approached POS to use Leinster just to fill the massive void which must have been left in the Leinster concentrator capacity since Perseverance went belly up.
POS would be in a much better negotiation position for using Leinster now than it was several months ago.
Without POS's ore, which normally one wouldn't cart 220km to a concentrator, Leinster concentrator, the Kalgoorlie smelter and the Kwinana refinery may go belly up.
I would say BHP needs POS right now more than POS needs BHP and that's saying something.
