Peterhag was right, there is a lot of irony in all of this.
From the footage I saw, the majority of the people attending the the vigil were female.
I'm guessing there wouldn't be too many candlelight vigils in Iran had an Australian woman been raped or killed.
It's ironic that so many women want to "stand up" for their rights, yet the same people would want to restrict women from having rights if they had the choice. If only they realised!!!
Why didn't these people hold a vigil for the young 14yo girl who was gang raped recently?
