My comment:

Maybe talk for yourself Bravobrad, but I'm sure many folks here have substantial investments in gold and gold equities and the rise in gold and gold equities will cover their "more expensive holiday, or electrical merchandise" 10 times, 20 times, 50 times, 100 times over and more.
