frontier exploration works like this, if conoco and cairn drill two dusters it will severely impact the prospects of the area, global companies have prospects in their portfolio competing for funds. It is very difficult to continue to go to board level approving the expenditure of 10s or 100s of millions when the results of the program have not delivered.
Regardless it is splitting hairs stuff, if you choose to hold far into the drill and they are dusters, you will have lost a lot of money and far will be on life support depending on kenya.......conoco and cairn could choose to retain the permits, however i doubt you would see another well within a 2 year time frame.....and who would wait another two years in far......not many....
simple fact is if you want to make decent money in far you need a success in one of these wells.....
i personally think you are way off.......we wont be still going here after 10 dusters......at least not in the medium term and it would not be these current owners
