Saxo are good on FX (about 0.35% spread between buy and sell from memory).
And once you sell a foreign stock they don't automatically settle back in AUD. They keep the foreign currency there until you want it to convert back to AUD. That way you can keep trading in and out of a foreign company without FX fees for AUD conversion on each trade.
