the boats are unsafe, they were probably lucky to be alive for all we know. at least they had a proper boat to get back home. becareful what you read and hear now, we have already had a few silly moments believing boaties and the likes of the ABC. its also worth remembering that under rudd, over 1000 people died in these sorts of boats.
