RIO, this short is now doing very well, and the trade still has a long way to run. It was nice to get short almost at the top, perhaps a little risky at the time, but you have to be in it to win it. As I mentioned yesterday, BHP and RIO are gappy, but if you get it right the profits are great. I have traded both BHP and RIO several times, and continue to do ok with trading these two stocks. Hence, I will continue trading them while it is working for me, if I have a few losing trades in a row I will reinvent my strategy for BHP and RIO.
WOW, finally WOW has turned around with a small dip today. This short trade is still in the red, but the SP didn’t even get close to my upper stop. The RSI is still almost off the chart. I haven’t doubled up or anything, but if I had not already opened this trade, it would be starting to look very attractive about now, perhaps a bit longer for confirmation, but I suspect the next global move down could be a quick one.
BHP, still wishing I has shorted on Monday, but I opened a short on BHP this morning, green at the moment.
FMG, as I mentioned yesterday, if I only I had stuck with my original trade plan on Monday. I see that Flemster has caught the recent short move in FMG, well done. I will sit this short run out and return to FMG another day. If the SP gets back to circa 510 and the pog has finished its inevitable breather simultaneously, then a solid gold long trade could be an excellent play.
WBC, getting close, maybe a bit longer before a good short opportunity.
NCM, I am looking for another surge in Gold, before the inevitable brief correction in Gold, at which time I will be aiming to short NCM. Flemster, I noted that you have already shorted NCM, a bit early for me until I see a small pullback in Gold. However, your call could very easily be the best call … maybe I need to be more bold, compared to yourself I am so conservative !!!!
HVN, again still a bit early for me, GL to those already in the trade with HVN.
CSL, I have not looked at the CSL FA yet, but I will keep my eye on this one. The TA has a little way to go, but the FA and GA could up CSL’s rating to a sell.
