How much money would they save if they got rid of serving food on domestic flights, do passengers really have to eat on any flight under 5 hrs.
An old pilot friend said years ago they started serving food to stop the passengers from being bored.
I flew Tiger recently and they were great , didnt have passengers munching away next to me and those huge trolleys going up and down the isle, they must add a fair bit of weight to the plane and also the heating equipment for the food as well, just a thought.
