    you have to be kidding!
no one buys ore with out checking the average grade(in the stock pile - (after the crushing)! before shipping / trucking. usually done, if being sold like this by the company(seller), and an independent for the buyer...

you think its been brought on the ore spotter giving grade in the pit! yep a lot of experienced mines write posts on here don't they!!!

so the spotter goes of his XRF in the pit, the grade should be as block model has indicated(average grade for the block)
the spotter takes lets say 10 on the spot samples of that bit in the block being dug by the digger, the digger lets say 11m3 in one swoop picks up what's been spotted as ore
hmm how much dirt is in that? so xrf has indicated an average of lets say 3% cu wow that's good... so some areas have run 3% some 5% may been he has had a hit of 20% now we crush it hmm so we get rid of some of the rubbish what was the head feed? (another 20 85t truck loads been put in with that stock pile any dilution???

what's the grade going into the truck???

you check an average of the stock pile!

or defiantly before it gets on that truck so are we getting a premium for this?? lets say it is running at 10% CU
so for every 100t shipped you have 10t ore that other 90% is expensive dirt to be sending to the other side of the world ( freight cost) who is paying for that? I guarantee not the buyer wearing all that cost.... so were does that cost of carting crap come from ..... grade price! (I would think) any one know what we are getting for the stuff yet)
I may have missed something, I think its great something may happen regarding DSO sales and cash coming in

any impurities are generally heavily penalised (speaking from some experience)
