Yes, it's really quite sad to see a man being drained, perhaps unwittingly, and perhaps naively, of his self esteem trying to sustain a program of mistreatment of fellow humans.

Sadly, in the longer term, it is Morrison who will be affected by this even more than Abbott. Abbott has nothing to lose.

Somewhere in his past, Abbott, unfortunately, has already chosen to forego his pride in an effort to sustain a mad obsession with flawed ideology.

Sadly, you can see the vacuum in Abbott's eyes, and the same eerie coldness creeping into Morrison's eyes. Very sad for the pair of them.
