if one chooses to dive into unknown, dark waters - taking a calculated and reckless gamble (that the water's going to be deep enough - safe enough) - one can often break one's neck. Even die.

And so it is with these (generally) pseudo- asylum seekers -
who demand ALL of us take them at totally face value - as "poor", "beknighted", "oppressed", "fugitives from political opression" "put upon" "victims" - yes, WE are asked to totally trust them - and in return, what do we have shown to US? -

a mass, deliberate, concerted, pre-arranged invidious imposition on our basic national tendency to extend compassion and basic good will -

yes, in return for us being expected to accept these face-value fairy tales - we are in turn being lied to and deceived.

For we ask, quite rightly, to be told, know upon arrival - just WHO these people (so-called "asylum seekers" are - THEIR ID and place/nation of birth and family details - their current marital and financial positions - their whole past history. The same scrutiny which is required of any of us, turning up at any other country's borders demanding admission!

and what do we get - for our generosity of spirit, a defiant smack in the face - a moral imposition on our generosity of spirit of massive proportions -

"Oh, dear, I lost all my paperwork, somewhere along the way".

Or worse, "I don't know who I am". "Not even my birthdate - let alone my birth place". Or - "I'm just a "poor" refugee. ('But could afford the huge bribes and smuggler fees I had to cough up' - they laugh to themselves - hoping we won't notice!)

We ask, where did you lose all your personal papers. Answer is what - "Can't recall?". Or what, "they fell in the drink".

(What, ALL of you - this happened to??) - we ask - (incredulous) - "Yep", they reply, not even having the grace to look sheepish. Let alone embarrassed!

They even have the gall NOT to see themselves as queque jumpers! The real poor and downtrodden forgotten and rotting - with their wives and kids - the REAL sufferers the Leftist latte sippers ignore - in the lifelong hopelessness of REAL refugee camps. Right at the end of the queues. Totally and forever forgotten.

I generalise, of course. Some truthful, genuine people are caught up in this net. But probably told to keep quiet - perhaps even threatened with repercussions if they talk.

Why should Australia bear the huge financial brunt and repercussion of this violence going on overseas - most of it religious fighting based?

But yes, some ask on here - just WHAT is an "asylum seeker" - in most cases we see at present, economic adventurers is more like it. Willing to thrown their wives and kids onto leaky boats - risk the teenager crews to boot. And all, mainly, of the same religious persuasion. Not all of whom have the slightest intent to truly try to integrate any time soon. But they'll take all the goodies on offer. Most of them Centrelink proffered. But bleeding hearts in their element too.

The Americans have a name for such fortune seekers - having to contend with floods of Mexican illegals - most of them single men, flooding in over their southern border. These are termed "ANCHORS" - sent ahead deliberately, and once they are established, they then arrange for their families to follow. It's being going on for years. America now has a huge Hispanic population. Spanish overtaking English, in some quarters over there, in mainland USA.

Drug smuggling - people smuggling - what's the difference. Each has it's victims - and each is making it's dealers huge fortunes. And causing huge social unrest.

Wish Australians were not such "namby-pambys" - always tippy toeing around truths - afraid to offend.

It's all Abbott's fault. This now the "by rote" Labor last resort marshalling call. Now wearing extremely thin.
