Japan has turned on or is planning to re activate 30 nuclear reactors- still headwinds for coal- simply too much supply.
It seems we can thank the US and Obama for this as they put restrictions on coal burning in the US which sent all their local supply seaborne.
With energy prices not he rise, perhaps the only savior to US internal coal consumption will be the emissions capturing technology- subsidies for plants that capture emissions- coal much cheaper than gas...
