Wonderful post, sir. The mind boggles at the complexity of life and our place in it. I have been reading some Eastern philosophy that states the universe is meaningless without humankind. That places us in a position of great challenge and responsibility. It also claimed that the universe is teaming with life beyond the imagination of the human mind and that most planets fixed in their orbit around their sun contain forms of life. These writings are nearly 200 years old.
As for my son in law - so very sad that a first class research biologist with high distinctions all the way has to leave his field of study because he can't live on the relatively small salary and the begging bowl approach to stay afloat.
I have read something about this sound frequency research, too. Very interesting stuff and you have to wonder if it could ever tie into string theory with its vibrating strings of energy. As you know they already use ultra-sound with kidney stones etc. I expect it's very likely that a healthy cell would respond differently to harmonics as compared to a diseased cell. I shall sound out the lad to see if he knows anything about this new and potential treatment study.
