Agree that using technical analysis is a tool to determine the probability of where the price would be in the near future. It is predominantly a trader's tool.

However, I also personally believe most bankers use moving average of past data of commodity prices / trend to project future commodity price.

And if that is the case, any price movement today will make a difference to the moving average that they see tomorrow. And hence, would influence how they rate the viability / profitability of CCU.

I am of the opinion that any recent uptick in pos will definitely help with CCU's pitch to the new financier. POS itself is by no means the only factor of course to determine CCU's profitability but one can't deny it is a significant factor, as CCU is highly leveraged to the pos.
