$500k rental property with 20% deposit so $400k loan.
Interest only repayments is $460 per week
Rent is $480 so covers interest and costs.
So it is costing you nothing to hold.
Average 8% growth 10 years is worth $1m, you still owe $400k but have $600k in equity
