Good post, thankyou thossil, I agree with all of that.
I was starting to think all that was left on this forum was psychotic online stalkers, trolls and would be's if they could be's.
I think the whole emotional aspect of home ownership is fading, plenty of reporting on first time buyers investing rather than occupying. Some people work in professions that require travel here and abroad, and often a PPOR becomes more of a burden.
Mind you, we have lived in 12 different houses in the last 20 years, so all purchases have been devoid of emotion, just pure numbers.
