Sergeant, I don't know Orwells trading rules, but in a course that I did certain exits (depending on the back tests on the system) were based on EOD data. Therefore the exit couldn't be placed till open the following day. Yes, that could mean a few extra $ lost, but the back tests proved that more often than not it was beneficial. Yes, you'd think that it looks obvious how tomorrow might go, but as you say, you shouldn't break your trading rules.
To the thread, trading must be without emotion, so it says something about the maturity of many here that there's so much of it flowing. Please, spend time reading the XJO thread to see how it's done. Its obvious who are long and who are short, but it's all treated with respect. (well, except Martis :)
