Not in a position to imply that that's the case...however

(Pantry) has a good theory on the "Insto - Rip Off thread".

If you have a look at a gold chart for the last 6 month you will note that SLR's share price virtually mirrored the ups and downs in gold...until 17th Feb (before the CR announcement on the 27th Feb) when it started to head South...its also interesting to note that the shorting started in earnest on the 26th Feb "BEFORE" the trading halt was announced before market on the 27th Feb...see link below.
