I heard the usual suspects on the ABC this morning telling all and sundry how we must save this Australian 'icon', regardless of the cost. It was so sickening I couldn't couldn't bear to hear all the whinging and whining and turned it off.

Why is the Aussie taxpayer expected to pay for all inefficient enterprises? Should the taxpayer be expected to pay for every failed business? I am sure that all failed business enterprises would welcomes such a suggestion! Maybe we should ask the local greengrocer, newsagent or café.
